Physical Education Teachers must :

- Instruct students on how to use a Heart Rate Monitor determine one's
exercise heart rate.
- Instruct students on how to determine an individual Target Heart Rate, and
why it is important.
- Instruct students on how to use a pedometer to determine and predict the
number of steps or distance in miles one travels during exercise.
- Place students in Cooperative Groups
- Schedule the buses.
- Organize equipment for the trip.
- Copy maps of Bushnell Park for the Teachers and Students.
Classroom Teacher must instruct
the students on:
- The history, monuments, and wild life of Bushnell Park.
- How to read, write and tell time.
- How to estimate and predict.
- How to use and read a Map to find a location.
- How to construct a sentence, and paragraph about non-fiction.
- How to read Sequenced Directions
- How to round to the nearest 10.
- How to count place values.
- How to average numbers
- How to Approximate a value for a number.
- How to place numbers in a table.
